That's a hard one cause I don't really have a favourite, but I guess the one I've watched most is “Yellow Submarine,” I quote it so much and like 99% of people I know haven't seen it.

I'm in third year university, I spend summers skating/filming/working and visiting my lady.

Who do you like to skate with?

Julien

Loads of people, in Sackville Sean, Pete, Dave and Seth (and Robisheau), in New Glasgow there's the Mitchells, Brett Rutledge, Jeff Purvis (Geoff), Spicer for the month a year he skates.... outside of those towns, whoever, Sylvain is definitely in the top people I like skating with, but he's a bum and doesn't live in Sackville anymore.

Visually? Herman comes to mind, I'm sure I'll remember/see an uglier one.

Julien

Yeah a few, none that any skaters call me. My fam calls me Julio, kid, HLB and a few others. Some kids on the rugby team at my school in grade nine called me screech cause they thought I looked like him.

Do you think the Mitchell's will ever get along?

Julien

Honestly, I wish, I've offered to give them 1000 bucks if they don't fight all summer, only cause I know it won't happen. So, no they won't, but I think they do like each other, they just have a massive case of sibling rivalry going in, ANYTHING is grounds to argue about, from what one of them said about a trick in a video, to them snaking each other (these examples at the most common).

I don't feel like/feel the need for it. I have fun when I go out, and I don't need to pay money to alter my state to do it. I also secretly don't drink to bug certain people (you being one of them).

Ok, what you do, is hire anywhere from 5 to 50 SWAT operative to set up a perimeter around your house/bedroom to make sure no one can get to you, then you turn off the lights and get to it. The partner can also be hired.

Explain the story behind the name TuneBomb?

Julien

I should have anticipated this one,

Back in grade 10 Daniel, a friend of ours was making a mix cd over at Aaron Spicer's house, and he was making the cd cover art on paint, and had to make the track list REALLY small so he could fit all the songs on it (punk songs) so when he wrote down the title for Rancid - TimeBomb, he accidentally wrote Tunebomb. Of course, I didn't even know this. I got the name from Phil, who stole Tunebomb from Daniel for the name of his car or something in some stupid PS2 game where you trick out a car and drive it really fast. So when it came time to edit my first montage, I used Tunebomb, cause I had no idea what else to use. I added the capitol "b" to make it look sicker (TuneBomb) and it has stuck since.

What do you think of skateboarding in general?

Julien

I love it, but wish it was more accepted by the general public (although not blown out xgames style), I wish I could skate more. For more on what I think about skating, see Seth Earl and Sean Garrity's documentary on skateboarding.

Outside of skating, what do you like to do?

Julien

Waste a bazillion hours on the computer, sleep, listen to music, read, play a select few video games (almost exclusively older stuff), and video stuff, I'm also just getting into photography.

What’s the funniest thing that has happened to you while skating?

Most recently, I was skating the Sackville Skatepark and I was trying a trick and shot out, and my board went under a kid who was bailing on a trick, and he landed on it and fell super hard.

I think what Consolidated said about it is best. Let them give money to skaters, but don't give them money (don't buy their products).

Should skateboarding go underground again?

I'd say until you there are legit parks everywhere, and you are allowed to skate most spots it's still underground, but honestly I don't really care, as long as I'm skating and making videos, the outside world doesn't matter to me so much.
